Area of expertise

Building structures must meet certain legal requirements. To do so, builders rely upon the quality of construction products and upon the products’ compliance with numerous regulations. Lack of compliance may lead to consequences as drastic as being ordered to recall a product or being fined.

A product that does not conform to Act’s requirements will be listed in the publicly-available Register of Non-Conforming or Potentially Hazardous Products, which is maintained by the President of UOKiK.

Experience

Experience with construction products:

Legal support in proceedings before what is referred to as “province” construction supervision authorities and the General Construction Supervision Inspector;
Representing clients in administrative courts;
Assessing whether a client’s procedures are legally compliant;
Drafting compliance procedures;
Conducting workshops and trainings for clients.
