Sabina Famirska is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers. She has more than 20 years of experience in representing clients in antitrust and consumer protection law cases, including vertical agreements, leniency, abuse of dominance and antitrust damages claims (private enforcement). She also specializes in compliance issues (including conducting internal audits and investigations to identify antitrust risks), unfair competition, contractual advantage and payment gridlocks. She advises clients from various sectors of the economy, including the financial industry, FMCG, automotive, construction and new technologies.
She has repeatedly achieved success in litigation before courts of all instances obtaining favourable judgments and settlements for clients.
Her professional experience is considerable. She worked as an in-house lawyer for an automotive company and as a case-handler in the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. Prior to joining Hansberry Tomkiel, she worked for a leading Polish law firm, where she led the antitrust team for several years.
She is the author of a number of articles on competition law and the co-author of the publication ‘Competition Law’ published by Lexis Nexis in 2011.
Ms Famirska served as Vice Chair of the Competition Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce and is recognized by Chambers Europe and the Legal 500.
